Terms of Use
Last updated: 27 June 2026
These Terms govern your use of synthai.one and enrolment in programmes offered by SynthAI Ltd., a British Columbia company operating a workflow studio in Vancouver. By accessing this site or registering for a lab programme, you agree to these Terms.
1. SynthAI service description
SynthAI Ltd. operates an AI literacy studio teaching workflow synthesis with generative AI tools. We provide professional workshops and structured learning paths — not life coaching, not AGI autopilot products, not medical services. The `.one` domain is branding only. "Synth" refers to combining AI outputs in human-controlled pipelines.
2. Who may enrol
Programmes target adults (18+) seeking professional development in AI workflow design. Corporate registrants confirm authority to bind their organization. Accurate registration information is required.
3. Acceptable website use
You agree to lawful use of synthai.one. Prohibited conduct includes unauthorized system access, content scraping, form spam, false affiliation claims and misrepresentation of SynthAI credentials or partnerships.
4. Enrolment and payment
Indicative CAD fees may change before confirmed enrolment. Binding agreements form upon payment acceptance or signed corporate statement of work. Taxes apply per BC and federal requirements.
5. Cancellations
Cohort cancellations 14+ days before start: refund minus C$85 admin fee. Within 14 days: one transfer to future cohort. Self-paced: refund within 7 days if unaccessed. Corporate: per contract. Missed sessions without notice are not refundable.
6. AI education disclaimer
SynthAI workshops deliver hands-on generative AI training for workflow design and output blending. Credentials mark attendance only. We make no promises about hiring, revenue, efficiency metrics or business performance. All AI-generated material demands human verification prior to workplace application. SynthAI does not provide legal, medical or financial advice.
7. Intellectual property
Lab curricula, workflow blueprints, prompt library templates and website content remain SynthAI property. Enrolment grants personal, non-transferable use for professional development. Commercial redistribution prohibited without written consent.
Your pipeline work remains yours. Optional showcase participation grants SynthAI limited licence to display anonymized excerpts unless you opt out in writing.
8. Lab conduct
Follow facilitator instructions on generative AI tool use. Do not submit unauthorized confidential data to ChatGPT, Copilot or Claude during exercises. No session recording without consent. Disruptive behaviour may result in removal without refund.
9. Third-party AI vendors
Tool use is subject to vendor terms. SynthAI is not liable for vendor outages, policy changes or output quality. We do not resell licences unless explicitly stated.
10. Warranties disclaimer
Site and materials provided "as is" for education. SynthAI disclaims implied warranties to the extent permitted by BC law.
11. Liability cap
SynthAI Ltd. and its personnel are not liable for indirect or consequential damages from site use or programme participation. Aggregate liability capped at fees paid for the relevant programme in the prior twelve months, except where BC law prohibits such limits.
12. Indemnity
You indemnify SynthAI against claims from your Terms violations, unauthorized data submissions to AI tools, or professional use of unreviewed AI output.
13. Privacy
Personal information handled per our Privacy Policy. Contact forms require unchecked PIPEDA consent.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and applicable Canadian federal law. Disputes subject to courts in Vancouver, BC, after good-faith negotiation.

17. Severability

19. Force majeure
SynthAI is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control — including natural disasters, widespread internet outages, or sudden third-party AI vendor shutdowns — provided we make reasonable efforts to reschedule affected lab sessions.
20. Language
These Terms are drafted in English (Canadian). Translations provided for convenience only; English version governs in case of discrepancy.
21. Assignment
SynthAI may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets with notice to active participants. You may not assign enrolment without our written consent.
22. Recording policy
Lab sessions may be recorded for internal quality review unless a participant objects at session start. Recordings are not sold or used for marketing without separate consent. Corporate clients may request no-recording terms in their statement of work.

24. Dispute resolution timeline
Before initiating court proceedings in Vancouver, parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution by emailing [email protected] with a written description of the dispute. Either party may proceed to court if no resolution is reached within 30 days.
25. Survival
Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law survive termination of enrolment or website access.
26. Notices
Formal notices to SynthAI must be sent to [email protected] and 400 Granville Street, Suite 900, Vancouver, BC V6C 1T2. Notices to participants may be sent to the email address on file.
27. Beta tools disclaimer
When lab sessions reference beta or preview AI features from vendors, SynthAI makes no warranty regarding availability, pricing or behaviour of those features after the programme ends. Vendor roadmaps change without notice.
28. Export compliance
Participants agree to comply with applicable export and sanctions laws when accessing AI tools or materials across borders. SynthAI programmes are intended for use in Canada unless a corporate contract specifies otherwise.
29. Feedback licence
Suggestions you provide about lab curricula may be used to improve programmes without compensation unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. We do not treat informal feedback as confidential trade secrets unless marked confidential in writing.
30. Waiver
Failure to enforce any Term on one occasion does not waive our right to enforce it later. Partial invalidity does not affect remaining Terms under BC law.
31. Contact for legal notices
Legal notices to SynthAI Ltd. must be sent to [email protected] and our registered address at 400 Granville Street, Suite 900, Vancouver, BC V6C 1T2, Canada. Participants may be notified at the email address provided at enrolment.
